Aerials - Lake Eyre

From the ground, Lake Eyre in the Australian outback can look like a blank white salt flat, but from the air it's full of life and detail. You see birds flying below, camel tracks crossing the surface, and mineral staining that shows where water has been. This collection of photographs is shot with the doors off, me hanging out of the plane to catch the just the right angles.
