I’ve had the opportunity to photograph the iconic Willie Nelson several times over the years, but this is by far my favorite photo of him to date. It’s just Willie and Trigger (his famous guitar), and no other distractions. This was taken at Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, and it wasn’t until his last song that I was able to capture this moment. The true connection between Willie and his guitar with every eye and ear completely tuned into what he was doing. Available as a Limited Edition print on metal.
